Turtlenecks Sweaters

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone is having a great start of the week. 

When you hear the word turtleneck what comes right away to your mind? For me, I right away think about an itchy neck and neck-less look. However, as I look through the magazines and social media, I have noticed that turtlenecks are the new trend. So I decided to give it a try by buying this turtleneck sweater from Forever 21. I ended up loving it!

One great thing about turtlenecks sweaters is that they're the perfect piece to wear during the winter because it's a great way to stay warm. There're many ways to wear a turtlenecks sweaters. One way is to wear it with a pair of denim jeans and boots. Another way is to use a pair of over layer pieces such as a leather jacket or even an over sized vest. This one that I wore has a very thick and over sized neck so I opted for a simple look by simply keeping the denim jeans and black boots.

Espero que todo el mundo está teniendo un gran comienzo de la semana. 

Cuando escuchas la palabra cuello tortugas que es lo que viene de inmediato a tu mente? Para mí, de inmediato pienso en un cuello que pica y mirada cuello-meno. Sin embargo, al mirar  las revista y medios de comunicación social, me he dado cuenta de que los cuello tortugas son la nueva tendencia. Así que decidí darle una oportunidad comprando este cuello de tortuga de Forever 21. Terminé amandolo! Una gran cosa acerca de los cuellos tortuga es que son la pieza perfecta para usar durante el invierno porque es una gran manera de mantenerse caliente. Hay muchas formas de ponerse un cuello de tortuga. Una forma es llevarlo con un par de pantalones jeans y botas. Otra forma es utilizar un par más de capas de piezas tales como una chaqueta de cuero o incluso un chaleco de gran tamaño. Este uno que llevaba tiene un cuello de tamaño muy grueso asi que opté por un look sencillo simplemente manteniendo los jeans y botas negras.
